I’m a Midwife, Nurse and Fitness Instructor with a deep interest in pregnancy and postnatal exercise. I’m also a mum to 2 beautiful children whom have also inspired me to want to empower women throughout their journey of pregnancy into motherhood.

Now a mum of 2, I truly understand the need to remain active during pregnancy to help minimize complications and to have a quicker recovery period.

In both my pregnancies I suffered from moderate SPD (from 28 weeks with daughter and from 13 weeks with my son) and the only things that helped were regular Resistance training exercise, Pilates, Hydro Pool, walking, monthly osteo treatment and wearing the SRC pregnancy and postnatal shorts. 

These shorts saved my life and allowed me to remain active and in minimal pain.

Many physios, osteos, chiros and my obstetrician advised me that exercise was the best thing along with a supportive garment.
By continuing my exercise classes, I was able to continue work until I was 36 weeks pregnant and not require bed rest.
My continuation of exercise also allowed me to have a speedier recovery, especially regaining pelvic floor activation and having minimal separation of my rectus abdominal muscles.
